What is a web version of an app?
A web app is a version of an application that is accessible via a web page on a computer. Generally it looks similar to the mobile application but is on a website address allowing access via an internet browser on any device.
Does My Estate Life have this feature?
We used to have this feature in 2019/2020 while the application was in a Version 1 state. When we updated in March 2021 to Microsoft global platform, we changed our applications to be more Native (Fully mobile) - This allowed us to introduce features that we didnt support previously. It also allowed us to implement a more animated engaging user interface.
Do we plan on bringing it back?
At present, our biggest commitment is to uphold the stability and enhance the overall user experience of the My Estate Life app. Consequently, we have decided against the development of a web-based version. We believe this approach allows us to maintain a higher level of control over performance and reliability. It's important to note that any developments in this regard would be subject to careful evaluation and a commitment to preserving the quality that our users have come to expect from our application.
Difference between the My Estate Life App and the Manager Panel
The My Estate Life app is utilized by the resident, and is downloadable from the app store. It is only available on smartphone.
The Manager Panel is a web based interface that allows management at the property to control the My Estate Life system onsite. As it is web based, the Manager Panel is accessible on both smartphone, laptop/PC.
