How to edit details on your profile

I need to edit my personal details - how do I do this?

Editing your personal details

Open your My Estate Life app and click on your profile, then click on Personal Information. This can be found on the top left corner of the home page and should look like this:

Here you will see a list of your personal details. Simply tap on the detail you wish to amend, type in the changed detail and make sure to click the yellow Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

Updating your login details

If you need to update your email address or change your password on My Estate Life, you can do this by navigating to your Profile and selecting Password and Security.


To change your email address:

First type in your current email address, then click Change Email.

Thereafter, you will be prompted to insert your New Account Email.

Go through the process of confirming this email address, and you're done!


When updating your email address, make sure you enter an email that is not already linked to another My Estate Life account. If the email is already in use, you’ll receive an “invalid email” error and won’t be able to save the change. 


To change your password:

You will first need to enter your current password for security purposes. After that, click on the Change Password button. 


Your new password must meet the following criteria: it should be at least 8 characters long, contain at least one capital letter, one number, and one special character (such as @, !, or $). Once your new password is set, click on Save Changes to update it.
