General : Session Expired Error

Problem

Users see a session expired error on their screen, this is either on app open or a Time and Date error when adding a visitor.

Solution

This error relates to the time and date on your phone being incorrect. Go to your phone settings > Time and date > and select "Automatically set the Time and Date" 


Without this set, your phone could be projecting the wrong time zone or time and date, causing apps like My Estate Life to have trouble validating your profile.

Status 

This issue is Solved.  We have seen this error enough to understand that it relates to the users time and date settings being incorrectly set.

Technical Documentation & Notes

Early Note on error not related to time and date settings : "My Estate Life app runs on sessions, similar to internet banking, and these sessions can 'timeout'. If you have left your app open on screen for too long, you may get a session alert or if your app did not close properly and then opens again, you may again see a session error.  This error is often followed by the need to login again."
